Does Cohen Davis offer legal aid?
We understand that legal costs can be a significant concern. However, our firm does not operate under Legal Aid. The funding provided through Legal Aid is not sufficient to support the complex work involved in harassment or defamation cases. This funding gap makes Legal Aid an unviable path for the kind of representation we typically provide. In our experience, proceeding under Legal Aid often leaves matters underfunded and unresolved due to financial constraints.

If you already have a barrister assigned through Advocate, we are happy to discuss working alongside them under other funding arrangements.
